Note: The records below are the verbatim handwritten records of the trials prepared by Isaac Heard, Commission Recorder, at the trials at Camp Release
 in the fall of 1862.  The records for the first four trials are the most detailed.  As the trials progressed, the recorded notes for each trial became less detailed
 (see, for example, the cursory notes for trials 238, 241, and 242).
