Findings About How We Learn

1.  When we learn new information, we incorporate it into our our previous understanding, with all of its preconceptions and misconceptions.

2.  Deep learning is better than broad learning because it provides the basis for developing a framework to analyze future problems.


3.  We only deeply encode a small portion of the information we process, and different encoding and retrieval strategies for absorbing and recalling information work best for different people.
