Will the War on Evil Produce More Evil?**
**I asked this question when this site was
constructed in October, 2001. The photo below answers my question.

After the horrific events of September
11, 2001, President
George Bush declared a "War on Terrorism." He more than
once
characterized the fight as one "between good and
evil."
History tells us that any popular
cause--and the War on
Terrorism is indeed a very popular cause--carries with it a
risk
that persons will overidentify with the cause and inflict serious harm
on innocent individuals.
In our rush to jump on the latest
bandwagon, let's never
forget the human consequences of our decisions.
