Read chapters 1 & 2  in  Law School Materials for Success
Brief the cases in chapter two of Law School Materials
Think about questions you have about law school or law study.

Thursday August 11

ASSIGNMENTS:  Come to class having completed the following:

Read the assigned handout cases for Torts Law and Property classes
Think about the cases in light of the material in the chapters you've read.
Write case briefs & notes on the assigned cases.
Read Chapter 3 of Law School Materials 

SCHEDULE:
Morning: Torts class  (What's going on in class; How to take notes)
Noon: Lunch -- on your own
Afternoon: Property class (The Structure of Legal Analysis) 

Friday, August 12

ASSIGNMENTS:  Come to class having completed the following

Read homework problem cases & materials.
Write case briefs and notes for class
Think about the cases and materials -- especially about how they fit together and how they might be applied in other cases
Read chapter 4 of Law School Materials for Success 

SCHEDULE:
Morning: Torts class (After class study & review)
Noon: Lunch on your own
Afternoon: Property class (The Structure of Legal Analysis)
Meet with Enrichment TA’s to discuss study groups and resources)

Monday, August 15

ASSIGNMENTS:  Come to class having completed the following:

Read chapter 5 of Law School Materials  
Think about how you might be tested on torts & property materials
Write an exam preparation outline for torts and property classes
Read class materials & write notes on materials to be used in class
Think about why the law is as it is; how the law could be different; how the law could be used

Noon: Lunch -- on your own
Afternoon: Property class    (Exam Preparation (2) Predicting and practicing exams )
